So my thesis unfortunately will not be defended in the beginning of march but insted it will be beginning of April. The struggle for finishing it las lasted the last few days and will also last for the rest of Feb. I still want to compete with Gustaf’s challenge to write the whole thing in 4 days (4x24h). So far I used 24h of these (on Thursday) followed by 2 days of brain-cooling-break. He never said anything about consecutive days so I don’t see it as cheating. ;) — read more ›

Just found out – to my great joy – that iTunes 7 finally solves the big problem of artists and CDs:
The album artist is not always the artist of the track. Until now I always used the Artist tag for storing all artists – in contrast to having them as (feat. xy.) in the track title as many others did. Now the dilemma is solved and the only thing I gotta do is to transfer the right “Album Artist” into the according fields of my library. — read more ›

So today I got my Austrian ballot sent to me. Gotta find an embassy here in Oslo so that I can fullfill the citizen’s duty and honour. Even if I am still not sure who deserves my vote (there are two feasibel options) and where it is best invested in. — read more ›

So, finally. The last deliverable (before the thesis) is delivered. Was a rather exhausting week since last wednesday (went to Dancehall Explosion then – best going out here in Sweden so far. Great music, great people, reminded me of K5 in Zurich). The weekend I mostly tried to motivate myself for working on the last two reports. Now it is done and I’m in summer holidays. Has been a while since I had like a month with no fixed plans. Even if I do not know how they will exactly end – I assume in teh beginning of August, but nothing is fixed yet. So I can spend some time working up my ToDo-list and READING (tons of books I wanna read!) and hopefully working a bit (have some web-dev stuff for me, please let me know!) and travelling and enjoying the nature. This means that I hope that the pace of interesting entries will raise a bit again. — read more ›
