Just a short notice as it has been ages that I have been writing. Slowly I am getting as offline as I wish, now I just need to learn to focus moe on the blog than on the mails. Getting there, getting there. :)
So currently I am in Rio, visiting Bernardo, sweating and carrying a sunburn for 4 days. A sunburn I got from a cloudy day (sounds like a song “Sunburn on a cloudy day”) so I am happy it is not that bad, only when sweating – and going for a run was obviously such a stupid idea – it burns like a million needles on my back. Well, I guess that’s my lesson in pain and body control. Funny enough I found out that it is possible to discarge the stings mentally so it is bearable.
Also, I finally made at least some insights reagrding my life – sitting 20 hours in a bus with nothing to do was definitely good for that. The stark landscape of the Pampa definitely helped there (reminds of western movies)… Biggest insight: My work is not physically demanding enough. Being a handy person at least I need an equilibrium between mentally and physically challenging tasks in a day (I guess this also answers some of my questions that I carried about my parents….). So the short term plan is to make up for this with more sports again. Not just running and frisbee, but I hope to start Capoeira again (great for strength, which I lost..) and hopefully a bit of climbing. Spiritu Sano In Corpore Sano.
What else? Well, there are tons of things to tell about Brazil, Argentina or all the other places and I will try to write them down some time, but now it is to experience. :)
