For a while I wanted to have a good and nice mechanical pencil… So now I finally decided that I want to buy one. I mostly decided now for two different models: LAMY Scribble and the Faber-Castell E-MOTION
So my initial favourite was the Lamy, but the eraser kinda put me off a bit. I have currently a cheap Faber-Castell with a really nice, big erasor. The first erasor that I really like to use on such pencils. The Lamy has a small erasor but otherwise looks nice and elegant. The Faber-Castell seems good but a bit boring and the erasor seems nice.
Today I finally managed to visit the place to get the Lamy here in Oslo. The erasor is defo too small, while the pen is really nice to hold, looks elegant and yes, has the problem that the clip is too small to keep it off rolling on surfaces. Actually a problem that I experienced here in the north is the one-size-fits-all mentahlity which means that you hardly find specialised shops but just the same stuff everywhere. So I checked the big books- and office-supply-shops but could not find the Faber-Castell. There’s still two shops I need to check, but if they don’t have it, I don’t really know what to do. I don’t just want to buy one without looking at it since it is intended to become my main pencil. ;)
