monday.
the cons:
* kitchen slave this week.
* homework deadline in 2h, have not started yet.
NordiCHI deadline in a few days (April 10), have not started yet
* Göteborgsvarvet in around one and a half month, have not really started training yet.
the pros:
* team work today was productive again.
* spring is here
Had a pretty OK day today. Doing better again – more productive, more planned again. When biking home (first time 2006 to bike with short sleeves today!) the sun was out again and I thought that I should go for a run. Searched first for a high pressure water cleaner to remove all winter dirt/salt/etc from my bike but the station is closed for now. D’oh!
So I came home and sun already set. Ate a bit of chokolate and banana to get energy and then the motivational struggle started. FInally my bad conscience won (my belly is a damn good argument) and I set out for a run. Went really well and nicely and so I just decided while running to go for a bit bigger lap. Well, the way I got to then was new to me and went around the botanic garden of Gothenburg. Only bad thing: It was dark, I forgot my watch and therefore only knew that I will come out somewhere (around east) if I continue running. No people around (except one person pretty early) and sometimes last chunks of ice on the forrest road. Really funny running down the hill on pure ice. However, it was really worth it. Found some new small lakes and a area I should check out with cam at daylight and sunset/sunrise. Like this I got an incredible post-sunset (the think common in the far north – and south – where the sky is still bright for a while since the sun isn’t deep beyond teh horizon) and a great view to the stars and moon. Should have had my cam with me. No city lights around. Other places with nice view on the city…
Summa summarum: I’m glad I did that run since I saw some great views and I found out to be better trained than I thought and than my belly implies. Ok, but now a quick shower (*stink*), fetch the pasta and start writing. Yay! Have a good eve/day!
Happy new flat, bigW!
Thanks! :)
You’re welcome! :)
