exam texts

blogging time again. I’ll try to keep the blog a bit more active again. Since I have this new, cool blogging widget, it also should go faster. :)

Spent most of the time on the weekend to write this essay on Interaction Design concepts and trying to cool my mind in between of the highly philosophical questions.
Eventually, I am very satisfied with the result and think that this exam gave me by far more than all these non-working discussions in class. Mainly since the teachers present were not understanding the matter well enough for themselves to guide well through the discussion. So the result was this typical question-answer game which changes focus after each answer. Like small-talking with a computer-scientist. ;)

Anyho, I am pretty satisfied with the result and also have the feeling that these ideas might help others (‘poor’ students) to understand the highly complex ideas of Hallnäs, Dunne and co. Mainly Hallnäs. And a little bit Redström. :D
As I was on the way publishing this essay, I also stumbled over the idea to put my earlier two essays from autumn online as well. So here they are:
First the essay on Interaction Design Methods with Jones and IDEO and so on.
Second, the essay on Ubiquitous Computing Fading. Weiser’s Vision Revisited

These essays have been written by me, but not officially published. So I don’t take any warranty upon their contents and correctness (spelling!), except that they contain my thoughts that I approved as accurate. Unfortunately were the questions in Swedish and I don’t really have the energy to translate them, but I find the answers pretty much self-explanatory.

So, enjoy reading.
