This is a late easter shoutout of “urbi et orbi” to all: Happy Easter!
Special shoutout to:
My mom, Annikki, for the nice easter package: You’re the best, mom! And the Mämmi I have been trying to eat at Finnish party a week before Easter, where I brought it as a present. Still yuk! Sorry, but I regard it as a “force-your-kids-to-eat-because-of-tradition-until-they-start-to-like-it-if-they-add-milk-and-stons-of-sugar”… ;)
My friend, Christian (a.k.a. bigW) for visiting me here and the most intense holiday ever. Pictures from our Norway road trip (2400 km in 4 days) will follow soon. A great experience and everything before that trip feels like years ago. Sorry for the cold. Easter 2008: world trip. :D
Jetske’s parents. Was nice to meet you guys here, even if just briefly. Hope you had a good time in Gothenburg and I guess I’ll see you around. Thanks for the cheese – it still waits for the right moment to be opened, when my senses are working all correctly again. :)
Jetske, my girlfirend for being such a great girl. You’re the best (just beind my mom)! ;)
Jon and his parents for the allowance to stay at their house in Oslo.
Gustaf for the nice remark “are you falling asleep while sitting next to me and working.”
And all my unnamed good friends all around the globe from the UK to next to the Easter Islands….
Enjoy the spring and see you some time!
>Gustaf for the nice remark “are you falling asleep while sitting next to me and working.â€
Your welcome my friend =)
I have to add special thanks to:
- Wolfgang: for getting and bringing me from and to the airport in GÖT & for a wonderful road trip with uncountable experiences and memories. This vacation is ranked somewhere between NYC and the one I’ll make later on this year. :)
- Jon and his parents for a warm welcome in their house and for the wonderful breakfast with hugely salted butter.
- The car company we rented the car from for giving us a great car which did not break.
- The supermarket in GÖT with the do-it-yourself-barcode-scanner for the funniest supermarket-shopping ever.
- The concierge in the Radisson SAS Hotel in Bergen giving us the free entry ticket for an awesome evening.
- Norway for having the world’s longest road tunnel.
BTW: The cold is not that bad in consideration of the fact that the trip was just fantastic. I think, I’ll survive.
FULL ACK & GO for world trip Easter 2008.
Gustaf: My honour and pleasure to be seen as a friend.
bigW: you’re very welcome.
oh my god,
this trip sounds like a real good old bigW + wolfi experience. I hope noone who met or saw you took any mental damage, or long term disease. a bit late but anyway, happy easter.
