Finally I could decide myself to award the title “my favourite bridge”. And the title goes to…: *drumroll* Götaälvsbron!
Congratulations! The performance with a traffic jam of one hour into town (with six busses of the same line directly behind each other) last Friday and this Friday’s performance with lifting the middle part was just too spectacular. :) Never seen such a thing before. Standing on the bridge in front of gates and watching the connection piece being lifted up high to enable a ship passing under. The ship actually did not look too high, but as far as I could see, its antennas would have scratched the bridge. Magnificent view.
